Frequently asked questions about our cameras

How big is the smallest axial camera at Ritec?

Our smallest is the RI 1320 SLC. The axial camera has a diameter of 13 mm and is best suited for small pipe diameters up to DN 40 (ID 1.6’’).

Is there any kind of entry-level model?

With our axial camera RI 32 VB in combination with the RiCubio® S you have many options for professional inspections in small and medium pipe diameters. Of course, the RiCubio® S can also be combined with a turn off able or pan & rotate camera. This significantly extends the inspection range.

When is a pan & rotate camera recommended?

A pan & rotate camera is usually used for medium and large pipe diameters. This allows a better inspection of the pipe wall. Moreover, the pipe diameter can be determined without additional software.

What is so special about a turn off able camera from Ritec?

Like all other cameras, our turn off able cameras have a completely free field of view. This makes them unique! In addition, they can be navigated in a targeted manner.
